Every couple weeks for the last YEAR Indi has asked me when she is going to get her hamster she was promised when we sold her PUPPY we gave her after having her for a week. Cruel, I know. But potty training one child, changing diapers on another and house training a puppy was a little too much for me. We realized we had made a huge mistake. (no worries our puppy went to a fabulous home at their aunts parents)
Needless to say I have felt guilty ever since, but Greg wasn't exactly excited about the hamster idea. The other day I also made the mistake telling Indi sympathetically that she had waited a whole year. She had no idea it had been THAT long and about died. She was mad.
Literally the next day I was looking on my good friends blog and she was looking for a new home for their hamster! The rest is history.
The Big Surprise...this is right after she opened her eyes.
Marshmallow (previously known as carmel) came with this fabulous cage! We already added a tower.
Happy Girl. Indi has thanked me about 1,000 times. She can't stop talking about her.
She really is fun to watch, she is a very busy little critter.
You would not believe the laughter that came out of my girls the first time they saw her rolling around the floor in her ball!
I have to say getting this hamster was like getting her from Martha Stewart. My friend Megan made this cute instruction card, laminated it then stuck it on the bag with a clothes pin! She also included a darling and funny gift for me! An air freshener!
Thanks Megan, we LOVE our new member of our family! Oh and Indi is dying to meet your girls. She is excited for them to come visit Marshmallow Carmel.

I love that picture of marshmallows face! did you say "say cheese!!!" and his head perked up like that? haha anyway i am so glad indi finally got her hamster! He is a dang cute one!
Oh my gosh I don't no what to be more excited about the hampster or the cage - holy cow that is intense!!! That is so fun for your girls - Krew is dying for one but I have to admit I am scared of them so I just can't do it!
my kids will soooo not see your blog--if they do, i will never hear the end of it. congratulations on the new addition....you are good parents. (i can't wait 'til marshmallow gets lost in your house somewhere!)

If I tell Tyson & Aspen about Marshmellow they will be at your backdoor in about 2 seconds, so get ready :) She is actually really cute, that's probably the only pet I could handle. It will be a good addition to have around!
