Big Day For Sloane

Sloane seeing better through her beautiful eyes. Last minute I decided to get Indi out of school and bring her to support Sloane. I feel Indi having glasses has been huge in helping Sloane to adjust. She is only 3 and having to now wear something on her face all and everyday will be an adjustment. Once we entered the green door our new adventure would begin.
Indi is such a cute big sister.

The big moment! Her sweet little face looks so small!

Taking a look at the new her.

They said she did better than any other 3 year old getting their glasses. They have to fit them to their face and adjust them. She was patient and helpful and very excited.

Sweet sisters and their glasses.

Celebrating with bread sticks from the Soup Kitchen...Yum.

Mom loves you Sloane.
I am so proud of you for being such a big girl about your glasses!

Daddy seeing Sloane for the first time.
Daddy is having a hard time.
He thinks they are adorable on her...She is just sooo little and he feels bad she has to get them so early. I had my moment after our doctor appointment. She had a bit of a hard time just before this. She said they were hurting her nose and got emotional about putting them on again, but after I loosened her nose piece she was a champ and kept them on without complaint for the rest of the night. They say for the first two weeks until their brain learns to start seeing through the glasses they will experience problems with depth perception, head aches etc. But we are hoping she will do just fine.
Love You Sweet Girl!

soooo darling (good documentation!)
i love the picture of the man putting the glasses on her--his huge hands, her tiny face, she looks so obedient and sweet. in some of those pics you can't even see her glasses-they melt right into her face. she's such a trooper for getting glasses at such a young age, you feel so bad that they have to go through that. you're a good mom to make it such a positive experience and indi is such a good, cute sister.
can't wait to see them in person!

You guys are such good parents. I can't believe how positive you are. This post has really helped me, I'm going to try and be more positive and turn bad things into good. With all my kids little issues (because all kids seem to have there little problems). Anyways thanks for inspiring me...
