For about a year now Sloane has had a very large ugly friend. Literally the size of a raisin on her teeny tiny thumb. And recently a baby friend started to grow on her other thumb! We went to the dermatologist and had it completely removed only to have it grow back twice as big in about 3 months. I started researching online home remedies for warts. First we started with the duct tape remedy...had some results but before long we were burnt out with it.
Next we tried.....
We found a miracle in Apple Cider Vinegar!! Seriously if you or your kids are unlucky enough to deal with warts, this is your lucky day! We cut a cotton ball to the same size as her wart, soaked it in the vinegar and placed it on top, covered with a band aide and some medical tape right before bed. The next morning it was black! (gross I know) Two more times and I could tell this wart was on on its way out. Yesterday it fell off like a scab! A wart is a virus that some peoples immune systems don't recognize as a problem. So the apple cider vinegar irritates the wart enough to get your immune systems attention. In fact her other wart that we haven't treated has a few black spots on it! I think I am going to treat it anyway to be safe. So if you have a wart...give it a try!! It could take longer than 3 times but just keep it up...it WORKS! My cousins daughter had the same success. Yea for Apple Cider Vinegar!!

chloe has one, keeps having it removed and it keeps coming back i'm going to have her try this (she'd kill me if she knew i announced her wart to the blog world!)

I'm totally going to try this! I've had a wart on my thumb removed THREE times and everytime it came back. And I just noticed Aubrey has one on her finger. YUCK. Thanks for the tip, I'll let you know what happens.
