A while ago I announced to my sisters that I believe I am the most athletically gifted sister :) And boy did I get a "do you know how OLD, and out of shape you are" look and a few laughs. They had smug little looks on their faces like
'we will just let her think that.'
Since then I have beat them all in an arm wrestle, managed to do a standing back flip (on a slightly bouncy floor), got up on one ski and then there was this...
While in California on the way to dinner Hayley said how she has always thought it would be cool to jump into a convertible like they do on the movies. I said, "Go for it...I'll take a picture!" So...next thing we hear is a large THUD! I seriously thought there was going to be a dent in our cool Chrysler Sebring.
Close but no cigar. I couldn't stop laughing.

So after dinner I said I wanted to try it...of course our camera was out of batteries. So in the parking lot at the restaurant I go for it... clearing it by a mile...landing standing up straight in the back seat with my arms up in celebration!! I hear something and look into the street and see a jeep wrangler full of teenagers with their hands up in the air like mine, cheering for the OLD, out of shape chick who just jumped movie like into the convertible!
As my parents and sisters were walking to their car, we drove past them in the parking lot as I yelled victoriously,
"Most Athletic Sister!!"
I'm good at driving them nuts.

That is awesome that you cleared it and with room to spare. I am laughing at your mom's and Greg's reaction. Todd saw your post first and could not stop laughing. I can believe the back tuck too you are one of the most athletic gals I know. Let me know if you ever find an old fart tumbling class, I would want to take it with you. I think if you were on American Gladiators your name should be "wonder woman". You should totally try out for that show you would kick butt!
OK, I don't even know your sister but I was cracking up! Greg's face is priceless! I can barely do a cartwheel so you win in my book.
