As I watched Indi walk to the bus stop, I saw a little girl in her class carrying a pot full of flowers. Crap! I forgot it was teacher appreciation "bring your teacher a flower day". Indi loves her teacher and I just knew she would be devastated that I forgot, and I felt like a horrible mother. When she got home she said, "Mom, it was bring your teacher a flower day!" I apologized profusely and promised to get her one to take tomorrow. She said, " No you don't have to...I got her one myself!"She was so proud! I asked what flower she got her, she said, "One of those pretty yellow ones from the grass!"
I thought it was the cutest thing I had ever heard, I love the cute innocence she still has.

That is the sweetest thing I have ever heard. I love that she has such a sensitive heart. What a great girl you are raising. Sometimes it is the simple acts of our children that make us great parents. You have to be so proud
Ah Elle that is cute. She must get that sensitive side from Greg. Hailey has her moments like that and then BAMB! 360 and were back to being herself
