Ummmm....Ya!! HOLY CRAP!!!

P.S. The hubby is fine with my obsession.

Hayley and I have had a really bad case of John Mayer on the brain....Particularly meeting him. And we have seriously believed we could do it somehow. That is the only way I can explain this how this happened.

This is a very short version of this heavenly story.

If you remember a few posts back I talked about the benefit concert in California. Things weirdly fell into place and there we were...first getting our photo with him, then we had him alone in a lobby for a few minutes...where he held my hands, or I held his, and he said both of our names! Then we sat 12 feet away from him during the concert and after it was over....

Me, Hayley, BJ Novak (stars in and writes The Office) and JOHN MAYER were talking in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel lobby! Just the four of us! Where Hayley told John that BJ told her that they have the same favorite line from The Office. (The String Cheese one) Which lead to me asking him about his recent trip to Japan where he went to clear his head. THEN he looked straight into my eyes and said, "I'm going to tell you a story..." No joke my pupils were 18 inches away from his while he told me a ten minute liberating experience he had in Japan! Never looking away once!

Hayley driving us to the hotel as we had lots of high hopes, but were just excited to have an out of the ordinary fancy night together. She looked like this the whole way there.
This was the GPS Lady that directed our journey. Hayley later wrote and sang a beautiful song about her.

We pulled into the Beverly Wilshire Hotel's valet parking among nothing but black Mercedes, Range Rovers, and Escalades in our silver Chevy Impala. Soon after...out walk Jay Z, Beyonce and their nephew. She said no to a picture, her driver said it was because she was without her make up. Tip: if you want to see famous people go to this hotel and sit there for an hour. It is amazing.

Hayley was almost just as excited to meet BJ Novak, Ryan from The Office. He was SO nice, he was our buddy by the end of the night.

Us with comedian Sara Silverman and our buddy Kyle. His aunt got him this job as a volunteer at the benefit because he is a huge fan of John. He is going to music school and one day we will be famous for knowing him.

If you want some good wholesome entertainment, DO NOT go to one of Sara's shows.

This is us at the end of our fabulous night, not wanting to walk into our hotel room hence ending our adventure. Thanks Hay for sharing one of the most fun nights of my life! And keeping me laughing... I will remember it forever!
