Cassidy and Governor Huntsman

Let me brag a minute about my little brother Cassidy. He is a Professional SuperMoto racer, he races for Honda Troy Lee. Today he finished 4th in the ESPN Moto X Games! He finished 1st in his qualifying heat race! SuperMoto is 80% street and 20% in the dirt. They literally go 100 miles an hour around a street track right into jumps in the dirt. They put street tires (slicks) on motocross bikes. He raced Supercross first, then retired then got into SuperMoto. He was the National Champion in 2006 and has been able to race in Italy, Japan and Belgium. Today Ricky Carmicheal came and sat down by Cassidy after his race and told him he thought he was the fastest on the street. He even gave him a few pointers. He also said if he came back to racing he would race SuperMoto which would be really cool for the sport.

Gov. Huntsman is a fan of Cassidy's, he has ridden with him at Miller Motor Sports Park and has said a lot of cool things about him. He told my dad Cassidy is a good representative of our state!Who would have thought he would be into motorcycles?

We are so proud of him and can't wait to see what this new season holds!
