My kiddos had their first Ice Cream Man experience today. Brought back memories. Melissa and I started yelling, "The Ice Cream Man is coming!" Not even knowing what we were talking about the kids jumped off the swing set and ran with big eyes towards the sweet little tune playing as he came towards our house. Sure it was dinner time but who cares. It was as fun for the kids as it was for Melissa, Greg and I to look at the colorful pictures and decide what yummy thing we wanted.
Sloane and Beaux: Tweety Bird pop.
Indi: Bubble gum snow cone (complete with a gum ball at the bottom)
Me: Cookies and Cream
Greg: Cookie and Ice Cream Sandwich
After we had come inside Beaux said, "That was a FUN Tweety."
And it was.

I love the ice cream man!!! Totally brings back childhood memories. I was at the park the other day and the ice cream man was just sitting in the parking lot I thought that was kinda rude considering no kids wanted to play they just wanted ice cream. Not to mention this ice cream truck sold not just ice cream pretty much any food item you can think of - it was weird!
I hope you are doing good I miss you!
The ice cream man totally rocks - until he starts to come EVERYDAY! I never thought I'd have a converstion with my 6 & 7 year olds about wise and foolish spending when it comes to the daily bubblegum-eyed Batman!
