Cassidy took 5th place in Supermoto against some of the best riders around the world. Not bad for a dude who sits at a desk now and eats lunch from a vending machine. He has only been on a bike 6 times since last season! He is amazing and we were so happy to be there again with him. The X Games are a blast!

Starting line on the jumbo tron. Wish I could have gotten pictures from the asphalt part of the race. The majority of Supermoto is on asphalt, they go up to 100 miles per hr and around tight corners of concrete barriers. Then onto a dirt motocross track, it is such a fun sport to watch.

He is SUCH a nice guy...said some really great things about Cassidy. His brother passed away last year after crashing racing Supermoto. Cassidy was racing at the same event.

This is Adrian Chareyre from France, he took 3rd. Maddy and I have become friends with his teammate Mauno Hermunen from Finland on Facebook. When Cassidy won the biggest Supermoto race in the world in Belgium, Mauno took second. It was fun to meet someone from his team. As we were taking this picture he said, "Ahhh thees eas America!" Pretty funny.

Ok this girl is so inspiring and amazing. Her name is Ashley Fiolek, I met her last year at the X Games. She was injured and not able to race. But this year she was ready to go. She is 16 years old and deaf. She has to rely on feeling vibrations in her bike to know when to shift. She ended up with the gold! So fun to watch.
We made a stop at one of our favorite shows. Kat wasn't there but it was really fun to see the place. We even got to watch a Ford commercial being filmed.

Rick called me and told me that it is politically incorrect and offensive for him to be referred to as a GIANT. He wants to be referred to as a large person from now on.
now that is one long post! looks like fun! it sure is nice to see clean-cut cassidy after looking at all of the tattooed and pierced dudes! way to go cass for being a good role model! (and for doing such a good job on the race)
actually carey hart is the only tattooed guy. there is just more than one pic of him :)
