Grandpa Jerry sent us on quite the treasure hunt, it was the highlight of our weekend. We couldn't have had a better time. The girls were so excited and proud of their tree that they will always have from their grandpa.
Grandpa Jerry spends many a day on the Alpine Loop on his motorcycle. Even squeezing through the gates and sweeping it off before it opens for the season. On one of his rides years ago he started this tree.
Growing up we had a family tree, so this was neat to have one for my girls.

We missed it on our first try so we had to turn around and keep looking. The second time we all felt the vibe where it was but Greg was the one who spotted it first.
Haven't seen the loop this gorgeous in a LONG time. Make the trip, you won't regret it. Thanks dad! This is just the beginning of our trips to their tree!

So glad they found it and like it. I look at it every year to see the change in it. They all get a shiny new quarter. Love you all.
